lighting designer

With over 30 years of experience in the performing arts and entertainment industry, award-winning Lighting Designer Guy Carrison has built a reputation for creativity, precision, and innovation. His career began backstage, where his technical expertise quickly led him to senior roles on major productions.

As a Senior Lighting Technician, Guy has collaborated with world-class Lighting Designers on some of the most iconic musicals presented in Australia, including The Lion King, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Wicked. Alongside large-scale commercial theatre, Guy has designed a wide range of productions for schools such as Melbourne Grammar, Brighton Grammar, Strathcona Girls’ Grammar, Camberwell Grammar and Carey Baptist Grammar, as well as numerous amateur and professional companies.

In 2024, his artistry was recognised with the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Lighting Design Award for his work on OCPAC’s Seussical. Touring credits include lighting design for Tina Arena, Hugh Sheridan and Russell Morris. Most recently, he designed All You Need Is Love and Kate Ceberano’s My Life is a Symphony at the Sydney Opera House.

Lisa callaghan

lisa has been involved in the professional industry for over 30 years. Her career has spanned television, film, radio and theatre. She was an original member of the Australian production of 42nd Street, taking over the lead role of Peggy Sawyer during the Melbourne season. Following this, Lisa moved to London to attend the Strasburg Theatre Institute.  Whilst there, she appeared in productions of The Winter’s Tale (Hermione), Gemini (Judith) and Trust (Maria).  She also played the lead role of Brigette in the acclaimed film Eating Out

lisa is an accomplished choreographer with more than 40 shows to her credit. she is a brilliant collaborator in her work with directors, costume and lighting designers. Her backgorund in acting means she develops in tandem with directors, story-focussed choreography, blocking and stage movement.

conrad hendricks

CONRAD’S professional work BEGAN POST-HIGH SCHOOL with Murray Tregonning of "Hey Hey, It's Saturday" fame. HIS career THEN expanded into live touring with the likes of John Farnham, Tina Arena and the Seekers. An 18 month stint in the UK was topped off with a run of Singing in the Rain at the National Theatre London as Associate Sound Designer. Upon returning to Australia and moving to Sydney in the early 2000's, many and various television opportunities came his way including work on Hi-5, Big Brother, the Aria Awards and Carols in the Domain. A return to Melbourne came about with work on the Spike Jones movie, "Where the Wild Things Are" which was a unique experience providing playback and wireless systems management on a complicated film shoot like no other at the time. Following this, it was straight into the Australian Tour of "Walking With Dinosaurs, The Arena Experience" as Sound Designer, then with the show on to the US as Associate Sound Designer. After 18 months touring the US and Canada, Conrad ONCE AGAIN MADE Melbourne his base of operations. Conrad continues his theatre sound work on select productions as well as other work in videography, software development and podcast editing.
